Store Settings
Store Settings gives you complete control over your supermarket's operational rules. Use this section to configure your automated email/push notifications, set your local tax brackets, define delivery distance boundaries and flat fees, and update your store's opening hours.
1. Store Profile & Business Hours
Step-by-Step:
- Go to Settings -> Store Profile.
- Update your Store Logo, Name, and Contact details. This is what customers see on their receipts.
- Go to the Business Hours tab.
- Set the Open Time (e.g., 08:00 AM) and Close Time (e.g., 10:00 PM) for each day of the week.
- If you are closed on Sundays, check the Is Closed box next to Sunday.
- Temporary Closure: If you face an emergency and need to stop accepting orders immediately, toggle the "Is Temporarily Closed" switch. Your store will show as "Closed" on the app until you turn it back off.
2. Delivery & Fulfillment Settings
Define how items get to your customers and how much it costs. Step-by-Step:
- Go to Settings -> Delivery Options.
- Enable Pickup: Check this if customers can order online and pick up at your physical store.
- Delivery Charges:
- Type: Choose FLAT or DISTANCE.
- If FLAT: Enter the fixed amount (e.g., ₹40 per order).
- If DISTANCE: Enter the Base Distance (e.g., free up to 2km) and the Charge Per Km (e.g., ₹10 per km beyond the base).
- Max Delivery Distance: Enter the maximum radius you deliver to (e.g., 10km). Customers outside this radius will be blocked from ordering.
- Minimum Order Value: Set the minimum cart amount required to check out (e.g., ₹200).
- COD Fees: If you charge extra for Cash on Delivery, enter the amount here.
3. Tax Configurations
Compliance is key. Configure how taxes are handled. Step-by-Step:
- Go to Settings -> Taxes.
- Enable Tax: Turn this ON if you collect taxes.
- Tax Name & Default Rate: e.g., "GST" and "5%".
- Prices Include Tax?
- If YES: A product priced at ₹100 already includes the 5% tax. The receipt will back-calculate the tax amount.
- If NO: A product priced at ₹100 will have 5% added at checkout, making the final bill ₹105.
4. Notifications
Control how the system talks to you and your customers. Step-by-Step:
- Go to Settings -> Notifications.
- You will see a grid of events (e.g., Order Confirmation, Low Stock Alert, Payment Failed).
- For each event, you can check boxes to receive an Email and/or a Push Notification on your phone.
- Additional Emails: You can add a comma-separated list of emails (like your store manager's email) to receive order receipts.
5. Loyalty Points Program
Encourage repeat business by giving customers points for spending money. Step-by-Step:
- Go to Settings -> Loyalty Program.
- Toggle Enable Loyalty to ON.
- Loyalty Points Ratio: How much must a customer spend to earn points? (e.g., Spend ₹100 to earn 1 Point).
- Loyalty Points Value: How much is 1 point worth when they spend it? (e.g., 1 Point = ₹1 discount).
- Click Save. The system will automatically calculate and award points when orders are marked as Delivered.
