Point of Sale (POS)

The Point of Sale (POS) system is a blazing-fast, barcode-ready interface designed for billing your walk-in retail customers. It perfectly syncs your physical store sales with your online inventory in real-time, allowing you to process cash or digital payments and instantly award loyalty points to returning buyers.

1. Using the POS Interface

1. Navigate to POS from the sidebar.
2. The interface is optimized for speed. You can use a physical barcode scanner to instantly add items to the cart, or use the search bar.
3. Categories: Quick-tap category buttons allow you to find non-barcoded items (like fresh produce) rapidly.

2. Managing the Cart

1. Quantity: Adjust quantities using the + / - buttons or type the exact weight for loose items.
2. Discounts: You can manually apply a flat discount or percentage discount to the entire bill if you have the necessary permissions.
3. Customer Tagging: Ask the customer for their phone number to attach the sale to their profile. This allows them to earn Loyalty Points for in-store purchases!

3. Processing Payments

1. Click Pay.
2. Select the Payment Method: Cash, Card, or UPI.
3. If Cash, the system will show a calculator to help you return the correct change.
4. Receipt: Once paid, you can print a physical thermal receipt or send an e-receipt via SMS/Email to the tagged customer.
